Nana Entertainment Plaza by Peter

Nana Plaza is a four story complex of go go bars where you can have some beers, chat up some girls (expect to pay somewhere around 150 baht each for drinks for the ladies who you want to talk to), and pay the “bar fine” of somewhere around 600 baht (a little under $20 US) to the club to take the girl out.
That fee only gets the girl out of the bar though, so you’re going to have to negotiate any extra services with the girls before you pay the bar fine. The girls set their own prices, but 2000 baht to take her to your hotel room for an hour or two is pretty typical.

My real recommendation, if you’re in town for a while, is to hire one of the bar girls to be your tour guide to the local’s Bangkok on one of your first nights there, because that worked out amazingly well for me. No regular tour guide would have had me drinking beer and eating crickets by the river at 4am, but it was one of the highlights of my first trip to Thailand.

In Soi Cowboy the After Skool Bar is a place where you can get a bj while having a beer (so I’ve been told) and Cock-a-too is a ladyboy bar.
Baccara girls are the biggest hustlers on the block, but they’re also probably the most attractive, and you can see the most nudity there as well.
They have bikini clad girls on the main floor, but there’s a glass ceiling above you, and the girls dancing above you wear short skirts and no panties, so you can get quite a view if you don’t mind craning your neck and looking like a pervert.

Inside Mercury A-GoGo Club at Nana Plaza

Mercury Go-Go Club in Nana Plaza was full of girls, more than a few were very easy on the eyes. And Mercury now features a small shower stall towards the back of the bar where shower shows are performed.
Since its renovation, Mercury Bar has turned around and gone from a decrepit hole in a corner of Nana Plaza into a bar worth checking out.
Just don't be the first customer of the night; like a decent bottle of red, Mercury gets better as the night goes on.

At my third and last night in BKK, finally I had time to go to Cascades, but only at about 1 a.m. . The place was very quiet, oviously most of the girls were barfined, not many stunners there. I ordered one san miguel light 150 baht, and went to toilet. I was the only one there.. When I finished, some girls came in, and I took the chance for pictures.. and the more pictures I took, the more girls came in.. haha.. they enjoyed it, as much as I did..

Deaf Girls Hanging Out at Nana

Lately there have been 5 or 6 deaf girls hanging out at the Nana Hotel sign across the street from the entrance of Nana Plaza. I thought they were just checking out the scene, but this guy he tried to pick up one of them, thinking that a girl that can't talk might be cool, and he was given the price of 1,500 baht for short time. But he didn't get any further. They just keep on talking to each other with their hands.
I think they just want to have a group larger than their immediate group to hang out with and to feel a part of.
Or maybe they are just waiting for someone to invite them into Nana Plaza to see for themselves what its like.

The New Look of Nana Entertainment Plaza

The sign at Nana Plaza got repaired today. It appears that the delay in lighting it up was not a content issue, but rather an electrical situation of fixing the wiring.

Inside Nana Plaza the beer bars dominant the center part of the ground floor, with most of the go-go clubs on the ground floor also including beer bars outside their clubs in addition to the ones running down the middle.

The Lights of Nana Entertainment Plaza

Walked around Nana Plaza in Bangkok last night, checking out the signs, the people, the girls.

Saw part of the show at Angelwitch, and when the featured pole dancer JoJo did her routine, the place got excited. She really livens up the evening.

Also, the jacuzzi with the cute little nude Thai girls in only soap bubbles at Billboard will get the blood a-pumping, as was evident by some old geezer who tipped 1000 baht for all the girls in the tub to divide up as he did a little dance.

New Burger Mobile Outside Nana Plaza

The old burger cart located just outside Nana Plaza had been there for years. Left for a short time during the cleanup process of Nana Entertainment Plaza, and then she was able to return.

But now she has a brand new "Nana Burger Mobile" that can be packed up and driven off under its own power. The burger business must be doing good just outside Nana Plaza.

Please note that she raised her prices by 10 baht per burger to help pay for the burger mobile. Go and check it out and have a burger. Its the same burgers as before with the same girl operating it.

Lone Star A-Go-G0

The old Carnival go go bar in Nana Plaza had a soft opening today as Lone Star A-Go-Go. The mechanical bull is still there with new covering, thus the slogan of "Come in for a Ride."
It's worth a drink and a chance to match your bull riding stills with the girls and to see the new cowboy-girl outfits.

Official opening is December 1st, 2012.

Live Music at Nana Plaza

Popped into Nana Plaza last night only to find a rave rock band had wheeled in their portable PA system into the entrance blasting their music throughout the complex, complete with guitars, drummers, and a singer. The entrance barkers and the band's friends were dancing away.

You never know what to expect these days at Nana Entertainment Plaza as what I was thinking as they wheeled out into soi 4.

Nana Plaza Food Court

To get to the Nana Plaza food court you go thru a beauty salon and up 2 flights of stairs.

The first thing to notice is how hot it gets in there. So most of the girls phone in their orders and have runners deliver their food to their respective go-go club.

A few of the choices include pork with egg over rice and green papaya salad. Please note that the food is geared for the go-go dancers, who like it very spicy.

A couple of the hard working cooks preparing the food to be delivered to various parts of Nana Entertainment Plaza.

I use to enjoy eating at the various food stalls around Nana Plaza, sampling their dishes at the different locations along the walkways. The cooks would get to know you, and it was a friendly atmosphere.
Now its extremely hot in the small quarters all of them are placed into the same room that's located in the very top of the Nana Plaza complex. I was sweating bullets from both the spiciness of the food and from the heat in the room that's generated by all the cooking that's going on in one small quarters.
So if you want to eat at Nana, phone in your order and have it delivered, and avoid all the stairs. Leave that for the delivery boys to climb up and down.
